People put all sorts of items down their toilets…from seemingly harmless things like cotton buds, through to more bizarre objects like false teeth! This challenge is all about how we can reduce the amount of loo littering by making people aware of its impact and by thinking about innovative ways to stop people putting things other than pee, paper and poo down their loo!

Have a read of these concepts to see if these ideas meet that brief. Would these approaches help to change behaviour? How could they be improved? How could you imagine them working in a practical sense - if at all? Can you provide a more catchy title? Please VOTE and COMMENT on these ideas to make them the best they can be.

People put all sorts of items down their toilets from seemingly harmless things like cotton buds and sanitary towels to bizarre things like oil, pills and false teeth!  These items contribute to over 25,000 blockages every year in the UK and cause property flooding and pollution.  So this new major campaign is launching in the press, the internet and on TV and the radio. It will shout Don’t Be a Loo Litterer! Pass it on.
